Week 2 – Term 2

Week two is over already and another busy week!

I was very proud this week to see such fantastic crowds at our 2019 Open Night this week.

As I said during the evening, our staff really enjoy our annual Open Evening as it is the perfect opportunity to showcase all the excellent work that our teachers and students complete.

I’d like to congratulate Charli from Orchard Grove Primary School as the winner of our Treasure Hunt.

I’d also like to announce the winners of our ‘best display’ as voted by our Open Night visitors. There was fierce competition for the coveted title so I’d like to congratulate our science and maths teachers for an outstanding engaging display. Mr Freeman with his dry ice cauldron was a sight to behold! Like us on Facebook and Instagram to see the evidence.

Week 3 is already shaping up to be just as busy with our Academy pre-Selection Day, Rehearsals for the annual Hamer Hall concert commencing for our music students and of course, our Athletics Carnival taking place next Friday 10th May. Could I ask you to ensure permission has been provided for your child on Compass?

Most excitingly though is our brand new website, after some teething issues it will be going live within the next week. Keep watching out for notifications on Compass, Facebook and Instagram when we announce its arrival!
