Research strongly informs us that one of the keys to a highly effective school is the leadership capacity of its staff. I am sure you would agree that Forest Hill College has a wonderful staff, blessed with an abundance of emerging educational leaders, capable of ensuring all of your children can thrive in their learning.
This week our leadership and Aspirant Leader teams have been continuing their ongoing leadership development program. Working with consultant Tracey Ezard the two groups are honing their skills around collaborative vision setting, conversational intelligence and strategic resource management.
This is an important element of the College’s continual drive for improvement. Our staff are enthusiastic, passionate educators, however we are aware that to drive the school onward we need to develop leadership capacity.
To date, the program has certainly delivered great outcomes. We are extremely optimistic and confident in the immediate future of our leaders and our emerging leaders. The growth we have seen this year in particular is very encouraging. We are currently seeking expressions of interest for internal leadership positions for 2018 and 2019. What is clearly evident is we have a strong team of developing leaders.
